Copyright
We file copyright applications and have secured copyright protection on original work ranging from games to authored works in printed medium. We also advise clients on copyright infringement matters, including the fair use doctrine and other evolving legal principles.
Domain Name/Cybersquatting
We have worked with technology clients and manufacturing and service businesses that have been challenged or have made claims under the recent Anticybersquatting Act. We have used the Lanham Act and other provisions of federal law to secure domain name protections.
Intellectual Property Agreements
We have assisted clients in the negotiation and drafting of agreements involving licensing and distribution, merchandising and the transfer or assignment of trademarks in connection with the financing or sale of a business. We have prepared confidentiality and nondisclosure agreements to protect our clients on intellectual property ventures and outsource services.
