Real estate projects frequently raise environmental concerns which must be carefully studied and resolved as part of acquisition diligence or before development can proceed. We work closely with consultants in assessing environmental exposure and liability, formulating remediation plans, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Representation before the Department of Environmental Protection, the Army Corps of Engineers, the Environmental Protection Agency, and local regulatory bodies on permit applications and compliance issues is also provided. TCORS’ regulatory experience, permitting experience, and environmental knowledge provides clients valuable assistance with these applications or reviews.
