Waterfront Development
The firm is experienced in handling waterfront development projects before the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the State Department of Environmental Protection and local zoning and wetlands commissions. TCORS frequently has handled permitting and enforcement issues related to private docks, marinas, dockominiums, channel encroachments, and other waterfront matters. TCORS also has extensive experience litigating and negotiating littoral and riparian rights issues. We successfully prosecuted a significant trial and appeal of these issues to the Connecticut Supreme Court, reported in Water St. Associates, Ltd. Partnership v. Innopak, 230 Conn. 764 (1994).
