Mikaela A. Kurzawa
Attorney Mikaela A. Kurzawa practices primarily in the areas of Trust and Estate Planning, Corporate Law, Real Estate, Land Use and General Litigation.
Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Ms. Kurzawa worked as an associate at the Hartford law firm of Pullman & Comley in their litigation department. She gained experience representing a major healthcare institution on probate litigation matters. In addition, she worked on commercial and corporate litigation matters.
Ms. Kurzawa is a resident of Waterford, Connecticut, and received her undergraduate degree in English from University of Connecticut in 2011, graduating with summa cum laude honors. She attended law school at Quinnipiac University School of Law and graduated in the top 10-percent of her class in 2015, earning summa cum laude honors.
While at Quinnipiac, she was appointed as Publication Editor for the Quinnipiac Law Review from 2014-2015 and was Vice President of External Competitions from 2013-2014 at the Society for Dispute Resolution.
Ms. Kurzawa is licensed to practice law in both Connecticut and Massachusetts. She is a member of the New London County Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, Hartford County Bar Association and the Young Professional of Eastern Connecticut. She is active in the community serving as Ambassador for the Safe Futures Domestic Abuse Treatment Center in New London.
