Profile Robert R. Statchen joined the firm as an associate in 2001. Prior to that, he served as a lawyer in the U.S. Air Force with assignments in Saudi Arabia and Bosnia, and he continues to serve as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Connecticut Air National Guard. Mr. Statchen is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Law at Western New England College School of Law supervising the school’s small business clinic run in conjunction with its Law and Business Center for Advancing Entrepreneurship. A native of Burlington, Connecticut, Mr. Statchen currently resides in Stonington, Connecticut with his wife and three children.Education Mr. Statchen obtained a B.A. with honors from Clark University and received a Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law. He also earned a Masters of Law (LLM) in taxation from Boston University and an M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut. Professional Memberships/Associations Mr. Statchen is admitted to the bar in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He was a House of Delegates Member of the Connecticut Bar Association (2002-05) and is a member of the New London, Connecticut and American Bar Associations.
