Steven M. McHugh
Steve practices primarily in the area of Copyright, Domain Name/Cybersquatting, Intellectual Property, Licensing Agreements, Patents, Trademarks and Trade Secrets.
Steve is a registered patent attorney and concentrates his practice in all areas of Intellectual Property Law. His intellectual property practice includes patent, trademark and copyright prosecution, enforcement, defense and licensing, as well as infringement, due diligence, right to use and validity studies.
Steve has drafted and prosecuted U.S. and International patent applications relating to electrical, computer and mechanical systems, including computer hardware/software, laboratory instrumentation, nanotechnology, micro-fluidic devices, etching processes (dry and wet etch), signal processing, automotive power systems, vision inspection systems, medical imaging systems (CT, MRI, PET), LASER applications, metallurgy, compressor systems, medical devices and product dispensing systems.
Prior to practicing law, Steve held electrical engineering positions at United Technologies Corporation Sikorsky Aircraft Division, Timex Corporation and Dictaphone Corporation.
