One of TCORS Attorneys, Mark J. Cook was recently at the ribbon cutting for the new patio that was given to The Arc Eastern Connecticut. The 2024 Class of the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT Leadership Program, with help from multiple community organizations, presented a new outdoor patio to The Arc Eastern Connecticut on June 29, 2023. The Class also presented a check for $5,000 to The Arc Eastern Connecticut. Class member and TCORS Attorney Mark J. Cook managed the zoning and building permit process for the patio. The Arc Eastern Connecticut provides advocacy and supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the entire region. Their services include: housing, employment/job development, vocational/micro-enterprise ventures, education, day programs, in-home supports, Senior services, health/fitness activities, and community involvement.
