Attorney Glenn Carberry attended the recent Annual Meeting and Educational Conference of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) at the Hilton Baltimore in Baltimore, Maryland. The four-day conference featured panel discussions spanning across a range of issues within the telecommunications, broadband, energy and water sectors.
The conference brought more than 1,300 state and national utility regulators, federal policymakers and industry representatives together for dialogue and networking. Many Connecticut residents attended the conference to honor Commission Jack Betkoski of the Connecticut Public Utility Regulatory Authority who was appointed President of NARUC for the coming year at the conference.
Attorney Carberry attended several seminar meetings focusing on telecommunications issues including discussions about improving access to broadband services, preventing a Cyber 9/11 in the future and balancing the needs of consumers and communities in deploying small cells and other wireless services.
